The film was projected to gross $23-25 million in its opening weekend. Rambo: Last Blood managed to grab $7.17 million on Friday along with Thursday night preview, that took the debut of the movie to $19 million and made it the second-best opening of the series. Rambo: Last Blood holding mostly mixed to negative reviews from the critics according to them the movie does not make the same impact as before because of the long-time gap because the previous part of Rambo was released in 2008 and after almost 11 years Rambo has arrived at the box office.
Critics also gave negative reviews to the movie as they find the decried script and graphic, and violence, and what they perceived as racist and xenophobics attitudes toward Mexico. But it seems that it does not much influence the movie as it receiving applause from the audience.
