2019 is a significant year for the movie industry. With so many big-scale movies released so far, a new installment of the Terminator Franchise will also be releasing this year.
The new movie called Terminator: Dark Fate will meet us in the theatre on 1st November 2019.
The movie was announced back in 2017. And it was said that James Cameron will be back as the writer and producer.
It is not only James who will be returning but also the main female protagonist of the first two movies of the series Linda Hamilton will also reprise her role as Sarah Conner and Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back as T-850.
The movie will be directed by the Deadpool director Tim Miller.
The most important detail of the movie is that it will be a direct sequel to The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day which means that the story will be in continuation to the 1991 movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The movie will not acknowledge the events of the other three movies (they just did not happen.)
Linda and Arnold will be joined by some new faces like the Blade Runner 2049 actor Mackenzie Davis who will play the character named Grace, a super Soldier sent back to protect Dani played by Colombian actress Natalia Reyes. Gabriel Luna will portray the new Terminator.
The trailer of the new movie was dropped in mid-may and received positive reviews. The excitement for this installment is enormous. The trailer looks really promising with power pack action, chasing of cars and trucks, and airplanes, everything is very huge this time. The previous movies of the series did not deliver what was expected of them. So fans are betting on this one. It is also rumored that this movie is going to be the last one for Arnold Schwarzenegger, which makes it even grander.
With all of the originals coming back we hope that the fate of this movie meets with viewers expectations.
